Anna is a writer and researcher based in London.
She has a PhD in Czech history from Cambridge. Her writing is in the Times Literary Supplement, History Today, Engelsberg Ideas, The London Magazine, Parapraxis, and Vittles. She is winner of the 2020 British Czech and Slovak Writing Prize and the 2020 German History Society Essay Prize, and was a London Library Emerging Writer for 2020-1.
Anna’s first book, COTTAGE, is about her Czech family, their holiday house in the Bohemian forests, and Europe’s twentieth century.
