David Kirk was born in Peterborough in 1985 and grew up in Stamford, Lincolnshire. He studied Media Arts at Royal Holloway, University of London, with a major in screenwriting from which he graduated in 2008. Currently he lives and works in Sendai in the north-east of Japan, teaching English to primary and secondary school pupils and researching his novels about the samurai Musashi Miyamoto. In the future he is interested in writing for other mediums, and is open to ideas and collaborations.
David’s first novel, CHILD OF VENGEANCE, was published in March 2013 by Simon & Schuster in the UK and Doubleday in the US, and his second, SWORD OF HONOUR was published in the UK by Simon & Schuster in August 2015.
