Jane Fearnley-Whittingstall has had huge success as a gardener, including two gold medals at the Chelsea Flower Show, and as a writer she has contributed to many publications and written several books of her own. Her weekly column for the Times, ‘The A-Z of Family Life’, ran from 2005-2007, and she has also written for the Daily Telegraph, Daily Mail, Express, Oldie, Woman’s Weekly, the Garden, the English Garden and Gardens Illustrated.

Since 2005, Jane has been writing THE GOOD GRANNY GUIDE books, detailing her experiences as a grandmother and her advice on being a grandparent. These titles include THE GOOD GRANNY GUIDE, THE GOOD GRANNY COOKBOOK, and THE POCKET BOOK OF GOOD GRANNIES, published by Short Books. Jane also wrote FOR BETTER, FOR WORSE, her guide to married life. In 2010 her book THE MINISTRY OF FOOD was published by Hodder & Stoughton, exploring how families coped with food shortages and rationing during the Second World War, and became healthier and more self-sufficient as a result.

Jane has made numerous appearances on television and radio, including the BBC Breakfast Programme and ITV’s ‘This Morning’, and is available for public appearances and speaking engagements.l
