Mark Wernham works for Community Music East, teaching music to migrant workers, troubled teenagers, people with physical and mental disabilities, homeless people and recovering drug addicts and alcoholics. He also teaches photography at the Norwich Arts Centre. Mark used to be a music journalist, he was a staffer on Melody Maker but he has also written for NME, icon, Ministry, The Face, The Word and many other magazines and websites. He’s always in a band, currently Globo (www.globo.org.uk), and lives in Norwich with his wife Kaoru and daughter Hana.
Mark’s debut novel, MARTIN MARTIN’S ON THE OTHER SIDE, was published by Jonathan Cape in 2009.
