Simon Lewis was born in Wales. He studied Art at Goldmiths College in London, then worked as a travel writer. His first novel, GO, about backpackers, was written in a village in the Himalayas. His second, BAD TRAFFIC, was shortlisted for the LA Times Book Prize in 2009. His most recent novel, BORDER RUN, was published in April 2012. He spends half his time in Brixton, London, and the rest in Asia, mostly China and Japan. His novels have been published in the US, Germany, Sweden, France, Italy and China.
