Tom Campbell read history at Edinburgh University, and has spent his career working in economic development and regeneration, focusing on how culture, digital technologies and the creative industries can be used to generate enterprise and employment opportunities, particularly in areas of long-term economic decline.
He wrote his novel FOLD during one of the frequent and needless organisational restructures that has so blighted the public sector over the last ten years. FOLD was published by Bloomsbury in June 2011 and his second, THE PLANNER, in August 2014.
Tom is married with three sons.
