C. J. Sansom’s TOMBLAND has been shortlisted at The British Book Awards 2019 for Fiction Book of the Year and Marketing Strategy of the Year.
The British Book Awards – otherwise known as the Nibbies – is judged by ‘leading book trade figures’ and has celebrated ‘the very best of the book trade for nigh on 30 years’.
TOMBLAND is the bestselling seventh instalment of Sansom’s Shardlake series and was published by Mantle on 18 October 2018. Matthew Shardlake is brought to Norwich in pursuit of a murder case, where he becomes caught up in Kett’s Rebellion of 1549.
The winners will be announced at the Grosvenor House Hotel on 13th May.
