Jenny Offill’s novel DEPT. OF SPECULATION has made it to the shortlist of the International Dublin Literary Award, along with nine other books. Nominations were submitted by public libraries in major cities throughout the world and 160 novels were on the long list. The Award aims to promote excellence in world literature and offers a prize of €100,000 to the winning author. The winner of the award will be announced on the 9th of June.
Jenny has recently been awarded a Guggenheim Fellowship for fiction and is currently a visiting writer in the MFA program at Syracuse University.
