Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall and Thomasina Miers win at Guild of Food Writers Awards

Congratulations to Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall and Thomasina Miers for winning their respective categories! Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall’s television programme HUGH’S WAR ON WASTE won the Food Broadcast Award and The Guardian Weekend magazine food section, in which Thomasina Miers has a weekly recipe column, won best food magazine or section.

Congratulations also to Hugh  Fearnley-Whittingstall for the nomination of RIVER COTTAGE LOVE YOUR LEFTOVERS for the Cookery Book Award and to the River Cottage handbook, GAME: RIVER COTTAGE HANDBOOK NO. 15, by Tim Maddams which was nominated for the Food Book Award.
