Jenny Offill, author of LAST THINGS and DEPT. OF SPECULATION, has been awarded a prestigious Guggenheim Fellowship for fiction. The Guggenheim Foundation offers Fellowships for men and women who have already demonstrated exceptional capacity for productive scholarship or exceptional creative ability in the arts. Jenny was the recipient of a New York Foundation of Arts award in 2006 and won the Ellen Levine Award for a novel-in-progress in 2012. She is currently a visiting writer in the MFA program at Syracuse University.
