Lucinda Coxon has been shortlisted by the Writers’ Guild Awards for the Best Screenplay award for her adaptation of Sarah Waters‘ mesmerising ghost story The Little Stranger.
The Writers’ Guild Awards will be presented by writer and actor Joanna Scanlan on Monday 14th of January in a special ceremony to mark the union’s 60th anniversary at the Royal College of Physicians in central London.
The Little Stranger was published in 2009 by Virago, and has been shortlisted for the Man Booker Prize and the Good Reads Choice Awards.
