Reviews
Shivi Ramoutar’s new book is as clever in format as it is beautifully designed - a well-thought out concept with invaluable tips for making the most of your time and ingredients. It promises - and delivers - an efficient way of organising not just your freezer, but your kitchen and the way you think about meal-prep - it’s the way I’d like my kitchen to run. The recipes are fresh, modern and achievable - I’m particularly excited make the cheat’s Jamaican beef patties, the pineapple fried rice, the lamb, cherry and pinenut meatballs, the Korean cauliflower poppers and sriracha lime and coriander butter. I particularly like the helpful tables of how to freeze and defrost safely, which foods you can and can’t freeze and how to prepare them.
This is such a clever and useful book. Shivi’s fabulous recipes will get every home cook making the most of their freezer and stocking up on delicious meals for the week.
