Dorian Lynskey has been writing about music, film and politics for over 20 years, for publications including the Guardian, the Observer, the New Statesman, GQ, Q, Empire, Mojo, Billboard and Slate. His first book, 33 REVOLUTIONS PER MINUTE: A HISTORY OF PROTEST SONGS, was published by Faber & Faber in 2011. A study of 33 pivotal songs that engaged with social justice, it was NME’s Book of the Year and a Telegraph Music Book of the Year.

Dorian's latest book, EVERYTHING MUST GO: THE STORIES WE TELL ABOUT THE END OF THE WORLD (Picador) was published in April 2024.
