Sarah Housley
Sarah Housley is a design futurist and trend forecaster, and the former Head of Consumer Tech at WGSN, the world’s largest and most influential trend forecasting company. For the past fourteen years she has worked across industries including lifestyle, interiors, hospitality, transport, food and drink and wellness to track and forecast trends. She specialises in technology, innovation and sustainability, and authors WGSN’s prestigious annual flagship report, Future Innovations.



Sarah has spoken on design futures internationally at events including the London Design Festival, Dutch Design Week and iF Chengdu, and has consulted with numerous brands on topics ranging from the future of water to our evolving relationships with robots. She is frequently asked to provide commentary to media on trends and futures research, and has been interviewed for BBC Radio 4 and CGTN, as well as print and digital media including The Globe & Mail, South China Morning Post, FT Weekend, The Guardian, BBC, British Vogue and Car Design News.



Sarah’s background is in 3D Design and design writing. She lives in London with her partner and two children.
