Tom Phillips

Tom Phillips is a journalist and comedy writer based in London. He was the editorial director of BuzzFeed UK, where he divided his time between very serious reporting on important issues and making jokes. He has also worked in television and in parliament, once launched a newspaper, and was a member of a very, very briefly acclaimed comedy group.

His book, CONSPIRACY: A HISTORY OF BOLL*CKS THEORIES, AND HOW NOT TO FALL FOR THEM (Wildfire) was published in July 2022. His latest book, A BRIEF HISTORY OF THE END OF THE F*CKING WORLD was also published by Wildfire, in February 2025.
