The perfect summer thriller - completely addictive, with a gorgeous, sun-soaked atmosphere that slowly curdles from carefree adventure into something altogether more sinister - plus a twist you'll never see coming. No one does middle-class nightmares like Sabine Durrant - she is a master at creating characters you think you know, only to flip your expectations completely on their head. Original, brilliantly twisty and genuinely unsettling — I’m in awe of her. A stunning achievement.
