Amanda J. Saxby

Amanda J. Saxby grew up beneath the towering trees and star-flecked skies of Canada’s west coast. She’s been reading since she could reach the bookshelf and scribbling her own stories since age eleven. Nowadays, her writing is more refined, fueled by imagination and an endless supply of maple lattes. In 2016, she moved to the UK and tried her hand at several jobs (including starting two businesses) before settling among dusty tomes in the rare books department of an auction house. On weekends, she can be found world-building, wandering the British countryside, or baking brownies worthy of their own love story. She lives in London with her partner, who patiently endures her endless “what if?” questions. A SPARK RISING is her debut novel.
