Lydia Davis's sensational short story collection Our Strangers has been chosen as the 2023 Booksop.org Indie Champions Award Winner for Fiction! Bookshop.org annually recognise the top individuals and organisations that have supported independent bookshops within the past year.

Prior to the book's publication, in a landmark move, Davis stated that OUR STRANGERS would only available via physical bookshops, Bookshop.org and independent online retailers, and is not available on Amazon.
