Emily Want

Emily was born in the UK and raised in Lanzarote, Canary Islands. She graduated from The University of Warwick with a BA in Film and Literature and worked as an EA in media for over twenty years at companies including Film & General Productions, ICM (now Independent Talent), BBC Studios, and UKTV.

In 2022 Emily moved to The Thousand Islands in Ontario where she presently lives and writes, alongside her Canadian husband and other assorted wildlife. She is working on her debut novel, a romantic comedy inspired by her move from South West London to an island in the St Lawrence River.
