Hugo Harrison
Hugo Harrison is a cook, writer and broadcaster based between Suffolk and London. Over the past decade he has spent time in the kitchens of The River Café, Coombeshead Farm, Pump Street Bakery and Chez Panisse. When not at the stove, he spends much of his time on farms and with growers, deepening his understanding of seasonal ingredients and the landscapes they come from.
In 2022, Hugo opened a restaurant on a farm in Hampshire, where he reared animals and grew fruit and vegetables for the kitchen, shaping a menu led entirely by the land around it. He has a deep passion for food and farming and how they coexist. In 2026 he was a speaker at the Oxford Real Farming Conference.
He currently works with Jamie Oliver across recipe development, food styling and the production of his cookbooks and television shows. His writing and recipes can be found on his Substack Salt and the Earth, a farm-to-table guide to flavour
