Lisa Timoney

Originally from Yorkshire, Lisa now lives in London with her husband and two teenage daughters. She started her career teaching English and Drama.

Her first book, HER DAUGHTER'S SECRET, was published by Avon in September 2022 and her second and third, HER MOTHER'S LIES and HIS SECRET WIFE were published in 2023. Boldwood published the family drama THE DAUGHER SHE GAVE AWAY in June 2025, and THE LIES OUR CHILDREN TELL will follow in 2026.

Lisa also writes as Kate Storey, and her book THE MEMORY LIBRARY was published under this name by Avon in February 2024. THE FORGOTTEN BOOK CLUB followed in April 2025, and the latest novel, THE LAST PAGE CAFE, will be published in 2026.
Under the name Naomi Williams, the thriller THE WOMAN IN WARD NINE was published by Headline in April 2025, and THE EYEWITNESS will follow in 2026.
